Looking into the price that women pay to take part in conventional beauty standards one can see the bar is set high.

Part III: Tenacity

Part III is called “Tenacity” and focuses on the positive side of wearing makeup and looking presentable when working jobs as servers or bartenders.

Women say that they receive more tips when smiling for guests.

Furthermore, there are perks of being extra flirty to managers, which the women explore.

The same women throughout the piece know that their good looks will completely make the difference when working.
