Born in 1952, Bobby is now 64 years old and living in San Francisco's Lower-Haight area. In the 80s he moved to San Francisco and began drag after being asked to come on stage during a show. Here he began on a small scale appearing in shows for friends, and trying out for low profile shows. Now retired, Bobby only appears in shows for friends and by request on special occasions. He lives with his two cats Yuki and Mona.

Known widely by their stage name, "Beatrix LaHaine," Perez has quickly gained notority in the electro-punk drag scene through their creative and entertaining drag shows. They began their drag endeavors in 2011 when studying clown & physical theater at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. It wasn't until last year that LaHaine truly began taking drag seriously. This year LaHaine created a monthly show in Oakland titled TRAGIC QUEENDOM, one of the only drag shows in the city.

The Grand Ducal Council of San Francisco

Started in 1973 by H.L. Perry, the Gand Ducal Council of San Francisco is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization owned and operated by community members.

Most of the money raised by the organization comes from shows put on by the ducal council all around the bay area. Through drag shows, fundraisers, and other events the council raises money for various charities both in and out of the LGBT+ community.  The Grand Ducal Council of San Francisco is just one of many ducal councils around the world, other organizations can be found in Hawaii, Southern California, and even in Canada.

Once raised the money is then dispersed at the discretion of the elected board of directors. The board decides which charities will receive  funds raised as well as how much money is received. Some of the charities the organization has donated to in the past are: San Francisco aid Foundation, Magnet/Strut of San Francisco, and the Larkin Street Youth organization.
